MAT 1361 Euclidian and Non-Euclidian Geometry (3)

Topics include the axiomatic structure of Euclidean geometry including a discussion of Euclid’s Elements, its postulates, axioms, with elements of plane geometry.  Half of the semester is devoted to a study of logic and methods employed in the various disciplines.
