ALL GREATEST BOOKS COURSES are offered in cooperation with the College of St. Thomas More as Thomas More courses. Students official academic records are maintained at the College of St. Thomas More. All tution and fees will be paid to the college and all requests for transcripts are directed to the college registrar who will forward them on official transcripts from the college.

The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board has approved degree granting authority to the College of Saint Thomas More. The College of Saint Thomas More. The college is accredited by the
Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools

to award the Bachelor of Art Degree.

Acccreditation by the Southern Association of Schools and Colleges as a regional Accrediting Body is the highest and most rigorous form of accreditation any college or university can acquire. This means that all Greatest Books courses are transferable to any accredited college or university in America where similar courses are offered.

 

Normal inquiries about the College of Saint Thomas More, such as admission requirements, financial aid, educational programs, etc., should be addressed directly to the College and not to the Commission’s office. The Commission’ contact information is provided to enable interested constituents to learn about the accreditation status of the College, to file third-party comment at the time of the College’s institution’s decennial review, or to file a complaint against the institution for alleged non-compliance with a SACS standard or requirement. The Commission should be contacted only if there is evidence that appears to support an institution’s significant non-compliance with a requirement or standard.

“Accreditation” is review of the quality of higher education institutions and programs. In the United States, accreditation is a major way that students, families, government officials, and the press know that an institution or program provides a quality education.
